Review
Lineage II is the prequel for Lineage, set 150 years before the original storyline. There are 3 Kingdoms in Lineage, Aden, Elmore and Gracia. The character is a dweller of each of this kingdoms. This is, in all terms of the word, a classic MMORPG. The objective is to kill creatures to get more experience and power so you can kill even more powerful creatures or wear more powerful items. The game uses the Unreal engine which brings good graphics and smooth game-play. However, the player balancing is not very well done; lower-level players struggle to have fun in the game, and they are tied to just killing creatures over and over. The best choice is to join a party. However, even though there are a lot of people in the game, many players are not interested in taking a lower-level partner. Some gamers may find this type of game-play appealing, but the fact is that other MMORPGs have added more depth to their games. This game can become monotonous for casual gamers; however, hardcore gamers should enjoy this. |
